Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: June 2026

Welcome to Gabino ISL (https://gabinoisl.com). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and outline the professional framework for our interior design, space planning, and lighting solution services. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Gabino ISL provides professional interior design, lighting consultancy, and spatial project management services. Our defined scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

  • Interior design consultations and concept development.
  • Spatial planning, layout optimization, and architectural 2D drafting/3D realistic visualizations.
  • Curation, material selection, and procurement management of furniture and technical lighting fixtures.
  • Dedicated project coordination and on-site implementation supervision.

The precise, final scope of work for any project will be mutually detailed and authorized via an independent Statement of Work (SOW) or invoice prior to project kickoff.

2. Design Fees & Financial Commitments

  • Mobilization Deposit: Design fees are calculated based on individual project scale, technical complexity, and required deliverables. A mandatory, non-refundable mobilization fee must be cleared before any conceptual or structural design work commences.
  • Payment Milestone Schedule: An agreed upfront percentage of the total project fee is required to initiate the project lifecycle. Subsequent progress payments are strictly tied to key project stages and deliverables.
  • Procurement Rule: Full payment for all custom-manufactured, imported, or specialty-ordered lighting and furniture items must be fully funded and cleared prior to ordering from suppliers.
  • Deliverable Release: Final project graphics, technical drawings, and physical deliverables will only be officially handed over upon complete settlement of all outstanding balances.

3. Design Revisions & Project Variations

  • Standard Revision Cap: To ensure client satisfaction, our standard design process accommodates up to three (3) iterative revisions based on the initial project brief.
  • Scope Changes: Structural design alterations or revisions requested beyond the finalized brief will incur additional design fees and directly modify the estimated project completion timeline.
  • Variations: Any post-approval structural changes, material updates, or additional works requested on-site require a revised quotation and a formal extension of the project timeline.

4. Procurement, Logistics & Price Volatility

When Gabino ISL is engaged to source lighting, furniture, or architectural materials:

  • All product fulfillment is subject to real-time manufacturer stock levels and supplier availability.
  • Quoted material prices and item estimates are subject to market conditions, foreign exchange rate fluctuations, and sudden factory adjustments, and may change without prior notice. Sourced pricing is only locked in upon verified receipt of client payment.

5. Timelines & Execution Dependencies

Estimated project completion timelines are provided in good faith but are dynamic. Timelines may be extended due to:

  • Delays in client feedback or design approvals.
  • Modifications to the original project scope.
  • Supplier manufacturing lead times and international shipping or customs delays.
  • Unforeseen on-site conditions or structural issues.
  • Unforeseen circumstances or Force Majeure events entirely beyond our operational control.

6. Site Supervision & Limitation of Liability

  • Concept Alignment: Where site supervision is explicitly included in the contract scope, Gabino ISL will actively monitor execution to ensure the physical build aligns with the approved aesthetic and design concept.
  • Contractor Liability: Independent builders, electrical engineers, masons, and third-party installers remain exclusively responsible for the quality, safety, structural integrity, and manual execution of their respective work. Gabino ISL assumes no structural liability for contractor execution failures.

7. Intellectual Property

All creative concepts, mood boards, technical drawings, 3D renderings, site presentations, and digital design documents developed by Gabino ISL remain the exclusive intellectual property of the company. Unauthorized reproduction, corporate distribution, or execution of these designs by third parties without explicit written consent is strictly prohibited.

8. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful project delivery, the Client is obligated to:

  • Provide complete, comprehensive, and highly accurate project briefs and site information.
  • Give timely feedback, choices, and structural approvals.
  • Grant unrestricted, safe access to the project site during standard operational hours.
  • Remit all stage and milestone payments in strict accordance with agreed terms.
